What I thought was a virus turned out to be multiple badly swollen capacitors on the motherboard. Al explained the situation very clearly and showed me exactly what he was talking about on the board itself. He recommend the best course of action to take in terms of cost. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this system due to it's age. Al was honest and forthright and bottom line.. he saved me money. I was very pleased with his service and he's the person I'm calling for any computer work I need done from this point on. Every other place I called didn't want to get involved with it and told me they stick primarily with iPhone repairs.Even though Al doesn't advertise cell phone repairs on his site I called and asked him if he could look at it. He said "sure, I'll check it out". I reiterated that it was a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and he said "No problem, I'll check out out".To cut to the chase..He replaced the screen and it's as good as new. I know from reading about this phone that it's a very difficult phone to repair but he did it. He's dedicated and I think he's part of a dying breed of service professionals.
