After talking to me on the phone about the new build my son and I had just completed, he was able to figure out that the RAM we install not be playing nice with the mother board. He showed up with a couple sticks of memory from one of his own computers, stuck those in for a test and it ran beautifully. I ordered new RAM and haven't had any problems with BSODs since we installed them. Then on his follow up phone call to see how things were going, Al gave me the clue I needed to fix the files that got corrupted when we ignored his advice.
