{"id":8611,"date":"2015-09-11T11:42:37","date_gmt":"2015-09-11T15:42:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.nccomputertech.com\/?p=8611"},"modified":"2015-09-11T11:42:37","modified_gmt":"2015-09-11T15:42:37","slug":"intel-launches-new-graphics-drivers-with-opengl-4-4-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nccomputertech.com\/techtalk\/2015\/09\/11\/intel-launches-new-graphics-drivers-with-opengl-4-4-support\/","title":{"rendered":"Intel launches new graphics drivers with OpenGL 4.4 support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Intel graphics driver releases tend to be a lot less exciting than their Nvidia and AMD counterparts, but they&#8217;re just as important for those who are currently using a system without a discrete graphics card.<\/p>\n<p>The latest 15.40.7.4279 Intel graphics drivers introduce support for the company&#8217;s HD Graphics 500 series GPUs, which are integrated into their new Skylake processors. There is also official support for OpenGL 4.4 in these new drivers, provided you have either a Skylake or Broadwell CPU.<\/p>\n<p>As for bug fixes, Intel has addressed an issue where displays connected through DisplayPort 1.2 flicker after returning from sleep.
